Gail Storm is a classic blues/jazz pianist and vocalist specializing in boogie-woogie and swingin' blues with influences from early women's blues/jazz, New Orleans, and jump blues. She performs in concert-solo or ensemble-in an array of venues, including restaurants, festivals, private affairs. Gail has also appeared on live radio and television. She has a classical piano background, and had recently studied with the renowned jazz artist, Bross Townsend. Gail has also studied with Alligator recording artists, Saffire, The Uppity Blues Women, and has served on staff at the award-winning Augusta Heritage Center for Blues and Swing Week at Davis & Elkins College in West Virginia.

Ms. Storm has just released her first CD, entitled "Just the Blues" which features some of her standard blues tunes performed mostly in a trio format, with upright bass and drums. Saxophone is included on the live cut from the 2003 annual Oyster Bay Festival at Fiddleheads.
